Edinburgh Day 2 – 30th June 2011

City bus tours

The city has a number of bus tour options. We bought a 2 day grand plus ticket at a cost of £25 each. This allowed up to use any of the four main city bus tours over two days as well as a tour to the Fourth Bridge with boat tour.

The first tour was upon the red city sightseeing bus, with hop on and off options at a range of the main sites. This tour focused on the main city centre attractions. Headphones were provided that could be plugged in at each seat to listen to the guide in a range of languages. This tour lasted about an hour, ending where it started at Waverly Bridge. Below are some pictures of some main attractions seen along the journey.
